Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Hermosa Beach

I like to say the most memorable part of the meal is the service! We LOVED our server, she was kind and precise. Management doing a fantastic job. There were two personal preference moments, one woman who dropped off our dish had her hand in her pocket (weird & unsanitary) and a gentleman cleared out a plate with food still on it, didn’t left much time to nibble. Food is beautiful and innovative. Carrot dish wasn’t my favorite, bass had a really pungent oil taste and had excessive amount of it. Oysters, Brussels, corn, goat curry FABULOUS! Drinks FABULOUS! Favorite part of the dessert was the tamarind drizzle, I got it on the side and drank it with a spoon 🙂 I would have loved the drinks menu and one food menu left on the table so we could tried more things. Overall experience was beautiful. Will definitely come back. Thank You for making my partners birthday special.

Service was on point. Food was exceptionally delicious. We had the mussels, jumbo scallops, and the short ribs. Every dish had excellent flavor. Highly recommend.

Rustic Kitchen has been our favorite neighborhood restaurant since they opened nine years ago. The food has always been excellent, and owners John (sommelier) and Noelle (chef), and their staff, have made it a warm, welcoming place. Unfortunately, as you can tell from the way this is written, they are closing the restaurant as of January 4, 2025. We will miss them and Rustic Kitchen very much.

Great fast and friendly service. The food was amazing as were the coffee, mimosas and bloody Mary’s. I highly recommend this lil gem in the flower district of LA.

Always a good place in the neighborhood to get a hamburger and a drink or take sometime and enjoy a delicious sparerib dinner. Lots to chose from and you always feel welcome
