Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Little Italy

This was the first time I chose the Pois Penche for a business dinner after I read the reviews. It was also a cold day and we didn't want to walk outside for a long time especially as my visitors were out-of-town. The food was outstanding but the service was slow. One of my guests had his appetizer in front of him for at least 10 minutes if not longer before he got his wine to taste. It took another five minutes until he got a glass with the wine. We were there early and the restaurant got busier later but the waiter seemed to be chatting with his tables a lot. We also like to chat but it's much better with a glass of wine. As I said before the food was very good and I will probably come back but I hope next time the service will be better. Especially with business visitors you expect to have a perfect dinner.

We had the experience of a life time! Sam in the back bar was amazing! Didn’t know anything about the food and he made it easy pleasy! We were able to meet the famous Chef Chuck Hughes, that took down Bobby Flay! He went out of his way to come over and talk to us, also gave us recommendations for other restaurants. The food amazing, experience even better!

This isn’t our first time dining at Jellyfish. The food is nothing less than exceptional, moreover, the place is consistent. The ambience is great and modern with a great vibe. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The Retelle pasta with oxtail and bone marrow is a must have!

We were early for our reservation and they didn't even blink. It was a great meal and service was lovely.

This was a fantastic find!!! Food was so flavorful, menu is very original, the decor is a fantastic modern twist to the traditional dinner and the waitress made sure we had an outstanding experience. This is officially the highlight of my trip to Montreal.
