- DDawnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were in New York the Sunday before New Year’s, and had the great fortune of going to Sugar Bar. I seen Valerie Simpson on TV a few days before and it reminded me of this restaurant. So glad I happened upon that interview. A New York neighborhood restaurant bar was full of chatting people having a good time. The food was good. The drinks were great and the desserts scrumptious. More importantly, it was beautiful to pay how much to Ashford & Simpson. It reminded me of growing up with their music in the background. We went on a Sunday; next time I’ll be sure to go on a day that they have music!More infoSugar BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Upper West Side•4.6
- RRachelDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe’ve eaten here multiple times on multiple trips to NYC and we’re always impressed with the incredible professionalism and efficiency in which the staff move through massive volumes of people. It is a true testament to teamwork and commitment to customers. The food is amazing, oh my gosh, wait until the French toast comes out topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, the mimosas are delicious with fresh orange juice, and it’s really fun squeezed in among the artwork and atmosphere with your family and friends. This restaurant is top tier and hits all notes - warm place, staff, and food. Don’t miss it, it’s sure to become a fave!More infoCarnegie Diner & Café – 205 W 57th St, New York, NYPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.6
- KKathrynNew York City •33 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024The Ho Ho Kus Inn is a neighborhood gem -- food is very good, it's got a nice atmosphere, and the service is professional, but friendly. It's nice to have a restaurant like this -- with a liquor license -- in the center of town. The manager was on site and working hard to make sure things went smoothly on the busy night we ate there.More infoHo-Ho-Kus Inn & TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Ho-Ho-Kus•4.5
