- JJudyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have eaten in and ordered take out meals several times from FF and have enjoyed all of them. We made reservations for Valentine's Day dinner. There was a delay in getting our food because it was so busy, but our server, Douglas, acknowledged and apologized for the delay and kept informing us of the status of our meals (many restaurants do not do this, so it was much appreciated). My husband's meal was fine, but the pasta in my entree was not cooked properly. I ate less than half of my meal. We brought this to the attention of the manager. She agreed with our comments and said she would inform the kitchen. She offered to bring another entree, but we declined because it was so late. She stated she would remove the charge for the pasta meal from our bill and offered a free desert, which we accepted and took home with us. This incident will not deter us from eating at FF again because their meals have always been good before and the service was great. It was also refreshing to eat at a restaurant with so much integrity. The management promptly provided several options to remediate the issue. This attention to customer service is not always seen in restaurants, but we saw it at FF and we really appreciated it.More infoFounding Farmers MD: PotomacPrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.4
- WWilliamWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe crab beignets were a surprise in terms of flavor and quality while the soup of the day--apple and butternut squash with a little dribble of spicy oil was very pleasing. We had the salmon with roasted brussels sprouts/mushroom/onions and the lamb bolognese--both were excellent. Service was great with good explanations of menu items, answers to our questions, and timeliness of attending to our table. It's a very casual place and the noise level was moderate though we were early diners though the place filled at dinner as we were leaving. Have already recommended to others and look forward to a return visit especially to try the chicken and waffles or the shrimp and grits.More infoBarrel & CrowPrice: Moderate• American• Bethesda•4.4

You don't have to wait too long for your food, but they are also not that speedy that you feel rushed. Delicious food (we had the Honey thyme spatchcock chicken, and, Yankee pot roast).More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.6
