Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Transcona

We came in at the time of my reservation and were seated at our table immediately, no wait. I have Celiac disease and was able to view a separate menu with alot of good options, I had the chicken BLT and it was delicious, oven baked fries were crispy. My partner also enjoyed his regular BLT and fries. The only unfortunate part is how loud it is, I could barely hear my partner speaking to me across the table.

We had an amazing experience at Peasant. The service was above and beyond, with staff that were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The cocktails were top-notch, truly high-end, and the wine list offered some excellent premium selections. As a vegan, I was happy with the couple options they had — the vegan mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, and the salad can be easily modified without dairy. My husband also really enjoyed his dishes. This spot is perfect for a date night or even a small intimate group or party. Highly recommend! Let me know if you want any tweaks!

We always enjoy our dinners at Kevins. Staff is friendly and happy. We both had 2 different Mac and Cheese, which were delicious . As an appetizer we had the lettuce wraps, the lettuce was crispy, just the way we like it.

The food and value and service were all exceptional. My only complaint is that there was a LOUD patron near us and due to tables being sort of close, we were forced to listen to his swearing and constant banter. We would go back though as everything else was excellent.
