My favorite thing about this restaurant is that vegetables and salads are numerous, prepared with creativity and full of flavor. I'm not a vegetarian but I always enjoy the vegetarian entrees here such as the mushroom polenta and roasted butternut squash. My son's short ribs with polenta was also excellent. The room is homey and congenial, service is attentive and well informed. I always like Copperhill for a special occasion.More infoCOPPERHILLPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Williston Park•4.7

- LLauriNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe asked for seating up upstairs and glad we did! So much quieter up there. We could talk across the table without having to say “what?” all the time! The food was really good-our party had the artichoke salad (very different, very good), the short rib pappadelle with homemade noodles(melt in your mouth short ribs), the ricotta cavatelli (good, but over-garlicky, I was told) and chicken Milanese (so good). Spilt the peanut butter crunch cake— more a mousse than a cake imho, but a tasty end to a lovely meal. We ordered the California Merlot, the reasonably priced one(lol) and it opened up deliciously. Oh, I cannot forget the service: from the young man at valet parking, the women hostess & coat check, waiter and bus boys— all lovely and thoughtful. It was a delightful evening!More infoThymePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roslyn•4.8
- JJanetNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe have dined here many times and the food is usually excellent. This time was not the case. I had to return my burger as it was definitely overcooked. My friend ordered the cob salad and the chicken was also overcooked and the salad overdressed. Since this is an unusual occurrence, I would return with the thought this was a one off. The service was excellent as usual and when my burger was replaced it was excellent.More infoHudson Garden Grill at the New York Botanical GardenPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bronx Park•4.4
