Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Portage Lakes

We got drinks before dinner at the bar. I recommend The Red Stilleto. We ordered all appetizers instead of entrees. The large seafood tower was good. Shrimp cocktail, with large shrimp, raw oysters, raw tuna, Cajun scallops. Then we got the charcuterie board. Sopressetta, cheeses, olives, two dips, we got oysters Rockefeller, lump crab cakes and fried calamari. They have baby chibatta breads with butter. Our waiter was awesome. Shout out to Nicholas! Was an awesome date night. The piano was a nice addition to the ambiance. Low lighting, quiet, elegant. My husband wore black slacks and a cable knit sweater, I wore a sweater dress with boots. Loved it. Will be back.

Best steak and king crab! Oysters were delicious! Christopher was an awesome server! Manager amazing as well, checking on us to make sure everything was above par. Overall amazing, thank you Rocco and staff!

We love coming to Lala’s! Both drink & food menus are great! Lots of options! The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked! Cocktails are great! They have a selection of beer too. Service is always spot on. They decorate so nicely! Everyone there is always having an amazing time. Highly recommend dining there (:
