- LLarryDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an awesome experience here for our annual Christmas Eve/Birthday dinner with our family. The restaurant and surrounding area was decorated beautifully, it is so nice to see Detroit aglow again. Our server; Donovan; was very attentive in spite of having several tables; he anticipated our every need and helped to make the evening very enjoyable. Every entree was presented beautifully; complements to the chefs; it made for a very memorable experience and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent overall; the only complaint was that the Chicken Milano was a little dry; two of us had it and it was the same for both; maybe add a little more of the wonderful sauce that came with it. One minor complaint; as mentioned the ambience was awesome at this restaurant but the lights seemed to "strobe" with the light music playing in the background. Four people in our party would be considered senior citizens and we all noticed the lights flickering to the beat of the music; this may not even be noticeable to younger people though. Overall though we all recommend this restaurant to anyone; the owners obviously care a great deal and have created a perfect dining experience.More infoLumen DetroitPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.7
- AAlexNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoRussell, our waiter, was the nicest human but also had great recommendations. Filet is 10/10. Lamb chops, very good. Drinks were amazing. They turned down the music a little for our larger table to hear each other. Vibes were lovely and highly recommend this spot.More infoThe Statler French American BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.3

- MMollyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined on 17 Dec 2024Great food, excellent service. We loved the explanation of the courses as they came to the table as well as the drinks that got explained. My vegetarian friend really appreciated the options they had for her! Overall, a great venue for a work gathering. Which is what we were there for. We had the 5 course menu option and it was a 2.5 hour event. It was the perfect timing for me and my team. Would recommend, and will return in the future.More infoFreyaPrice: Very Expensive• American• Detroit•4.7
