Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Exton

We had a very nice experience at the new Jockey Tavern. The service was fantastic and the food very good. I had the brisket Renan sandwich and I have to say it was the best Reuben I have ever had. It was served with a choice of soup which was also delicious. I saw on the menu they have fish and chips and am looking forward to trying that.

We loved our private tent meal. Atmosphere could not have been better - unique, intimate, beautiful. Will say that there were many menu items that were out and therefore unavailable to us. This happened the last time we came to Terrain as well. Two entrees we had planned to order were sold out. The wine we chose was also unavailable. As was the dessert we had selected. This was disappointing. The food we ended up with was delicious. Hopefully the problems with inventory will be remedied - we will be back to try again.

As always, Chef Rucker knows how to bring it! The food, service, ambience, music and vibe were all on point. The swordfish belly app, lobster toast, hash browns, crab claws, blue fun tuna, cabbage, scallops, swordfish Milanese, sea bass, ham and squid ink biscuits and chicken were unreal. This is our third visit, and the consistency and quality were outstanding. We’ve probably had every menu item and have been enjoying the changing drinks menu as well. The matcha cocktail is a favorite, can drink it like water! The new mezcal Negroni was delish!!! You have to get the desserts. I crave them constantly now. The granola cremeaux is in my dreams.

The service was excellent and the food delicious. We like to come also because the acoustics are good and we can enjoy good conversation!

Simply yummy! The ambience is lovely, and the food is just so fresh and whole! Lizzie was an amazing server! My dad literally said, “she was the best server we have had in 5 years!”
