Stunningly wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend.

Overall our experience for our first time being there was awesome. The food was great and out server was great. The only thing that I didn’t like was the male and female hostess at the front talking crap and laughing at certain servers in front of us and agreeing with each other on seating us with the servers they where talking crap about. It was highly unprofessional and made us feel like we didn’t even want to be seated because we didn’t want to have to tip bad service on our special night but I’m glad we decided to stay because our server was absolutely amazing. I would definitely come again but I think management need to speak with their hostess about this kind of behavior. They need to treat every customer the same not pick and choose who they give customers to and definitely not discuss their personal issues about their coworkers in front of the customers. This could cost the restaurant money and the servers their tips.

Came in at 7pm. Table is ready, Got our orders. Food is served right away. Service is quick and good. Happy customer here.

Good service; good food; great time. We enjoyed ourselves. The octopus was very good as was the crudo. We shared these as starters. My wife had a special - uni with squid-ink noodles and I had the seared dayboat scallop risotto. Both were quite good - the noodles were a little too much for my wife to finish (but she made sure to get all of the uni). My risotto dish came with 5 scallops which were cooked very nicely and presented on top of the risotto - there could have been a few more chanterelle mushrooms though. We split the Pecan Pie Tart for dessert. We finished with a couple of cappuccinos which were nice and hot with plenty of foam and great espresso. We brought our own wine and enjoyed it with the meal.

My new favorite spot in San Jose! The service is consistently excellent! Each dish is so flavorful and hand made! I had the lobster bisque and shrimp and crab Cobb salad. The bisque was perfectly flavored and not salty…the Cobb was a generous portion and excellent dressing. My server was so professional which made lunch even tastier! I will be coming back soon!
