We were given light-up holiday hats for everyone in the party because we made a reservation online. So cool! The ambiance was lovely, all decorated for Christmas, a cool little bar, and awesome holiday themed cocktails. The waiter was very attentive. Amazing food! Get the burger! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The shrimp bisque was also quite good. My only negative is the price, but I’d rather spend $150 for a meal that supports a small business, with quality hand-crafted food than pay the same for a chain restaurant of the same predictable menu items. We love St. Augustine and come up every December for Night of Lights. We hope to visit Forgotten Tonic again next year!More infoForgotten TonicPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.8
- JJoséAustin •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe place was great, we were in St Aug. during the Night of Lights time of the year which means either you make a reservation to eat or you wait 2 hrs at any restaurant. Luckily for us OpenTable had this amongst the ones with availability. Small plates so you can enjoy different flavors, our server was outstanding, I didn't get her name but she did a great job guiding us through the menu and house specialties. They have live music so if you are into that make sure to let them know to seat you on that side of the restaurant.More infoChez L'amourPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• St. Augustine•4.5

The experience was amazing and I would recommend Raintree to everyone visiting St.Augustine. Both the service and food were excellent! The atmosphere is so inviting and everyone working at the restaurant is so friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait for our next visit!More infoRaintree RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.8

The food was delicious, we had the triple tail with corn salad and I can honestly say it was the best fish I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection. Our server was courteous, patient and very professional. I love this hidden gem. it was our second time in two weeksMore infoOld City HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.6
- GGinnyVIPJacksonville / Northeast Florida •45 reviews4.0Dined on 23 Nov 2024We booked this spot for Nights of Lights and I’m so glad we did! Not only is it in the heart of downtown but they offer parking which is impossible to find during this event. The valet even guided us out of their lot in a sea of people that clearly had no idea what a car on the road meant. The staff was courteous and attentive. The bucatini and short ribs were AMAZING. We left just before we had a chance to enjoy the music. This place is small so I’m glad we had a reservation. We will definitely be coming back here.More infoAviles Restaurant & LoungePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• St. Augustine•3.7
