Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Laguna Hills / Lake Forest / Foothill Ranch

I had made the reservation for a family members bday and made couple requests. The staff took great care of my family and made it a nice experience.

Hostess named Sam acknowledged us as soon as we walked in out of the pouring rain. She got us seated earlier than I expected and she was friendly. The rest was amazing, but just the small things entering for the first time mean a lot.

The Drake has live music so it will not be quiet but we sat in the bar so we could enjoy the music but could still have conversation. We enjoyed both of our meals, the halibut and the venison. The art deco decor enhanced the experience as well.

My husband and I enjoyed an early Valentine’s Day out. The garlic shrimp linguine was very good and my husband said his Barramundi fish dinner was excellent. It was a great ambience. We looked out at the patio on a rainy night with all of the beautiful lights. Be sure and grab a glass of wine and some crabcakes. Those were very good too. 

We meet every three or four months for a cousin’s lunch to keep in touch with each other. The food is very good, and the service is great.
