- JJanLos Angeles •27 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a wonderful restaurant! Found it on Open Table and what a delight. The server (Emily) was fantastic. She was freindly, helpful and fun. The food was creative and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was delicious (especially the meatballs!) They have original cocktails that were outstanding. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend!More infoGray TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Studio City•4.7
- JJessicaVIPLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe started with their Paint and Sip session from 12 to 2 PM, which was an absolute blast. The ambiance was creative and relaxing, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed to unleash our inner artists. It was such a fun and unique way to bond with my mom and Gabby—lots of laughs, a little paint flipping, and beautiful keepsakes to take home! After exploring the lively Universal CityWalk, we came back at 5 PM for dinner, and Five on the Hill absolutely wowed us. The chef’s gift, a stunning Oaxacan-inspired chile relleno with butternut squash purée, crème fraîche, and pomegranate arils, was a masterpiece—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My mom adored the Elf’s Pumpkin Pot Pie, a heartwarming dish with tender chicken and flaky puff pastry served in a petite pumpkin—it was pure comfort on a plate. And let’s not forget the lobster tacos—delicate, flavorful, and a perfect way to indulge! From the creative vibes at the Paint and Sip to the unforgettable culinary experience, Five on the Hill made our Universal City adventure truly remarkable. Can’t wait to return! 🌟More infoFIVE on the HillPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Studio City•4.2
- KKarenVIPLos Angeles •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOld school steakhouse vibes. Smart casual or dress up for a retro formal not fussy experience, done casually with family familiarity. Food was all excellent - again not fancy or fussy presentation, just good food on a plate. Owners Sophia & Boris set a “everyone is friends” neighborhood vibe, and deliver a lovely experience with warmth and a solid meal. Great for family dinners. - JJimLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We were unfamiliar with Firefly but, based on a good rating from YELP! we decided to try it. There were 5 of us for dinner and the food was outstanding. We opted for the 3 course fixed price menu and each dish was excellent. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The portions were generous enough so that we left satisfied but not stuffed. We'll definitely be back.More infoFirefly - Studio CityPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Studio City•4.7
- GGinaLos Angeles •9 reviews4.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024It was Christmas Eve so it was very busy. The service wasn’t fast. We did have to ask several times for refills on water and for them to clean our table. Food was good and hot. It’s family style and portions were very generous.More infoChin Chin Studio CityPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Studio City•4.5
