Have family in from Ireland and so we made a reservation for 5:45 for 5 people with various tastes in food. We had the most delightful patient waitress great disposition, happy to be there !!! That says a lot right there. The girls had a special cocktail that they just loved, we had a few questions about the menu and our waitress was confident in her answers ! Also a huge plus. We had just excellent service, delicious food a warm comfortable atmosphere and it restored our faith in good service ! A time when people were happy to be at work and confident in the food they were delivering ! I think that all shows a great Team effort ! Their was a younger hostess that seemed to miss the memo, but we didn’t let her energy bring us down

If I could give my experience today, 10 stars, I would! Nicole was an amazing server. She was attentive, professional, and very kind. She made my delicious meal a wonderful experience. Additionally, management was personable and professional , and making sure everything ran very smoothly. This was one of my favorite dining experiences at Tavern on the Green. BG is great. I had the scallops again and they were perfect. The other items in the menu were delicious and their great choices. This is one of our favorite places in New York. Even though it’s in a department store it’s a great restaurant.
