CORE is exceptional. We've been fortunate enough to have been to a significant number of Michelin 3 stars. We both agreed this is a top 5. It's hard to add anything meaningful to the prior positive reviews. I'll add a couple of items I haven't seen much in the reviews. First, my wife is a vegetarian and CORE accommodated that beautifully. Second, the price of CORE, is very fair, particularly when compared with other 3 stars. We both had the classic menu, drank a nice bottle of Malbec, had two cocktails and some cognac. The bill was less than $1,000 US. While that is still a lot of money for a meal, it's probably the least we've paid at the 20 plus 3 stars we have now been to. Finally, we were impressed that the founder was very visible and friendly to patrons throughout the evening. That's something we are increasingly seeing less of in 3 star restaurants. It was nice to be greeted by her as we walked by the kitchen. It seems ridiculous to give a review and not talk about the food at all. It is exceptional and I have no insights that other reviewers have not already provided. This is a 3 star restaurant in every respect.

An excellent Christmas Day experience. The service was outstanding and so were the singers and band. The only quibble was having to choose ONE side.....this was completely unexpected and also ridiculous. Roast potatoes OR sprouts????!!!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas lunch wit our family of five. We all enjoyed the choices we made across the menu- goat cheese crème brûlée, chicken liver parfait, excellent cod filet, turkey roulade and risotto with truffle, delicious sticky toffee and orange baked Alaska. Wine was great as well. Service was very welcoming and attentive both at the reception and in the brasserie. Apart from the brasserie, the other rooms on the ground floor are well worth a visit.

Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!
