- JJaniceVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe LOVE Higgins - both the Bar, with its bistro menu, and the Dining room, with more expansive and spendy offerings. As a pioneer in Farm to Table, Higgins never disappoints us. Gracious, comfortable service, creative menus of regional food items and fine cocktails, beer & wine offerings.More infoHiggins Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Organic• SW Portland•4.7
- LLykkePortland / Oregon •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoIt was generally a really nice experience. The best thing was definitely the servers - they were super attentive and kind. The kitchen staff was really accommodative since I don't eat dairy and meat. That said, there was so much sand in my mussels. The dish tasted great, but I didn't get one bite without sand. I carefully scooped the broth, since I could hear/feel all the sand on the bottom of my plate. It was pretty off putting to be honest. My husband enjoyed his pork, but it was lacking carbs. The wine was great! It's a small, curated drinks menu that was quite interesting and delicious. If you're sensitive to noise, this is not the place. The ambience is generally nice, but it's extremely noisy and you can barely hear what the person across from you is saying, which is probably why everyone is speaking so loudly.More infoStreet DiscoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Southeast Portland•4.7

- MMartinPortland / Oregon •11 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Jan 2025very nice evening celebrating the birthday of a friend. The food was delicious..we had the gnocchi with the seafood , steak frites and a hamburger...started with oysters...all excellent. the staff very friendly and caring. We had to wait at the bar for 30 minutes for our table...which was just fine! We got free drinks for the waiting, a very nice gesture! I would go back in a heartbeat!More infoNORMANDIEPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Southeast Portland•4.8
- HHeatherPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024What a delightful surprise to find this little gem tucked inside an unassuming storefront in Downtown Beaverton. Inside are six charming tables, an attentive chef and staff, and a delicious and sometimes surprising tasting menu. From a perfectly seared scallop to a delicious vegetarian "meatball," the meal was excellent and the staff were so nice. The 70's playlist added the perfect vibe to a relaxed but special meal. Loved that they have a "half glass" wine pairing option. At the end, the eggnog semifreddo with a gingerbread wafer cookie was the best dessert I've had in a long time. The pairing with the Godfather cocktail was inspired. I can't believe this lovely spot wasn't on my radar sooner!More infoDon's Favorite FoodsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Beaverton•5
