Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Morris Plains

From the second we walked in to the time we sat down, we were met by a friendly and enthusiastic staff. We had a reservation for 4, but needed to add one more and Frank was more than accommodating. The service was on point and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend for a family dinner or a date night. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!

I can't say enough good things about this spot. My wife and I had heard great things, but it took us a while to make our way here. I've never had Italian food this good. My wife and I ordered an appetizer, 3 entrees, and dessert, and I swear all of them were equally amazing. Meaning, your eyes roll up in your head when you take your first bite because it's THAT good. The pizza is excellent the main reason we go. We have ordered some of the dinner specials and really enjoyed them as well. The tables are too small and it takes maneuvering glasses dishes and utensils and condiments to eat however it’s still cramped. They are always busy so be prepared to be rushed so they can turn over a table. We were still sitting at our table when they set up a second table onto our table and started moving our coat and purse off our chair to work around us. 4th time eating there and 3 out of 4 times I felt rushed but the food is very good pizza is great and everyone is friendly.

LuNello's never disappoints me. Whenever I bring a new guest to the restaurant, they always compliment the menu and their choice. The real testament to someone's pleasure with their dining experience is when they take some of their choices home with them to enjoy.
