Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Shelton

I consider Siena a true hidden gem. Some of the finest food we’ve ever enjoyed was served there…for the second straight visit. The menu offers variety to suit a wide range of tastes. Service is very professional and warmly friendly. Just right. Our waiter remembered us and our drinks preferences. (We’re, a small quiet family, and our only other visit was over two months ago.) Highly recommended!

Zucca is my favorite restaurant in Fairfield county- easily the best Italian, best vibes.

To say this is an amazing restaurant, is an understatement. For over 40 years, my family has been coming here and this evening we celebrated another birthday. We frequent here but have always made sure to celebrate my wife's birthday with her favorite meal. Tonight was an amazing experience as the entire restaurant sang happy birthday. We look forward to many more years celebrating.

It’s beautiful in there, it was my second time dining at olives & oil. This time we went on a friday after Christmas, the decoration, staff, food was amazing. Whether you’re there for a couple of drinks at the bar or seating in there dining section you’ll have a wonderful experience. They pay good attention to allergies and have gluten free options.

The greeting, service and food was exceptional. The actual tables could be updated; they were chipped and picnic-style. The music was nice but a little loud. It was difficult hearing my daughter. The portions were beautifully displayed but a little small. They were fine for the 3 woman. If my husband was there...he could have eaten both our dishes.. Overall, in my opinion....the food was wonderful but just a few little things would have made it an A+.
