Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Silver Lake

One of our favourite restaurants in the area. Jamie was as charming and knowledgeable as ever! My only note is they tend to dress salads heavily. Ask for dressing the side of you prefer lighter dressed salad. Bravo Drago!

A solid experience in every way. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious and unique dishes, excellent service, and decent prices. Eli served us at the bar, she was warm and professional. We had a carpaccio with balsamic pearls that burst with flavor. Pizza dough was yeasty and flavorful, pasta fresh and silky. Good Italian wines by the glass with a decent pour and reasonable price point. I’ll be back.

exceptional food, terrific service, lovely ambience - great for a family or date - would highly recommend. we only had appetizers, pastas and dessert - no mains - but all was delicious. ricotta was delicious, pasta with sweetbreads a favorite.

We visited for our wedding anniversary on a Sunday evening. There were couples and families dining and the noise level was moderate. The food was amazing, we ordered a pizza to share, risotto, and rib eye, plus few desserts. Everything was delicious and the servers were thoughtful and timed everything well. There is a large scale mural in the restaurant and we had a terrific few of it. We would definitely go again during the day for the food and to see the mural once again.

Da Barbara was exceptional. The ambiance, the staff, the food. We’ve been to LA many times and this is one of my favorite restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Barbara is so kind and welcoming, her food is outstanding and you can tell how much joy she has making food for guests. 10/10
