Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Somerville

This was our second time eating at MV. The service is truly outstanding. The wait staff was never far from our table and accessible if needed. They don't rush you to order or eat. All the food was tasty and presented well in the plates and in generous portions. I had hoped for a scingili dish that I'd had before, but it was not on the menu that night. The shrimp dish I chose was great. Yes, we will go again.

Excellent service, excellent meal! Took my 14 year old for dinner, last minute on a Wednesday evening. The space was decorated nicely and the spacing between guests more than ample. The service from the moment we were seat was outstanding and our server Nichole was wonderful. This is my 14 year old son's "rating": Octopus was amazing with a great chimi churri type sauce and crispy potatoes and some great pickled onions- 8.7/10 Spice Vodka Sauce Burrata Pasta amazing vodka sauce tasty burrata must order- 9.8/10 Braised Short Rib great melty tender short rib with an excellent potato puree pairing flavorful vegetables and an amazing glaze- 9.5/10 Creamy Scallop Risotto great risotto with an interesting burrata flavor and a peppery oily flavor and very very flavorful scallops a hint with a of smoky- 9.3/10 Desserts Pistachio Cake - the was a pistachio cake with this pistachio vanilla whip cream like outside and pistachio sponge cake with pistachio mouse and vanilla pistachio mouse inside I chose to replace the scoop of pistachio gelato with dark chocolate and it was very good- 9.9/10 Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler - moms dessert was a strawberry rhubarb with sugar cookie crust on top whit a scoop of there vanilla gelato- 9.7/10 He is spot on! Every plate better than the next.

The food the service the ambiance was all excellent. It's not easy to get in, but once you're in there you're in for a treat

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience at Sapori. Our waitress, Mario, gave us a wonderful experience. He was professional and helpful. He welcomed us with a beautiful smile and warm countenance. He checked on us regularly, we appreciate his service. For our Entree my husband and I had the Lamb Chops and ravioli. They were nice and tender, juicy and flavorful. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we will certainly dine here again.

The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. The staff is warm, friendly and always makes sure that you feel part of their family. This is my favorite place to eat in the area.
