Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Yorktown Heights

I was looking for a restaurant where my husband and I could have an early anniversary celebration. A friend recommended Basso56 and it definitely was just what I was looking for. Its simple, tasteful decor created a nice ambience in an intimate space. Best of all, the food was excellent and the service was warm and friendly. The fried calamari was lightly crisped and our fish dishes were wonderful. Will definitely go back to try their pasta selections.

I have been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Our server, although very busy, was amazing. He truly went out of his way to make sure everything was great. I had the sizzling shrimp appetizer which was very different and made to perfection. My husband had the breaded chicken, and I had the ravioli both of which were excellent. While they had some interesting signature cocktails, it would have been nice, to add some holiday drinks and some old favorites like chocolate martinis. We are locals so having this amazing new and different restaurant is a bonus to our community.

Good food, attentive service on Xmas Eve with my sons. Friendly patrons, everyone happy and relaxed. Zucca did a wonderful job on such a sought out evening. So happy to have this restaurant in my town Merry Christmas to all💚🌟🌟💚
