Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in San Jose

Fantastic experience. Probably the best Mexican food in the bay area. This is a total renovation with a beautiful restaurant and bar. Very inventive food and great Margaritas. Not to be missed. 

Had a great lunch. Will definitely go back again great service as well.

Great find in midtown. The food was XCLNT! We tried their birria pizzaola, their take on pizza/quesadilla. It was loaded with savory beef birria and cheese. One is enough to share. The other dish was their carne de jugo which is stew with pinto beans, beef, green onions , and jalapeño. This dish was so tasty. Again enough to share. Their portions were substantial. They have an extensive cocktail selection. Tried their mangodanita, a mango margarita seasoned with tahini and choya. Fruit forward drink with tangy overnotes. Overall good value. Will return again.

The food and service was great but the live band and the music in between was very loud and made ordering near impossible. I had to point at every item I wanted because the server could not hear me or vise versa.
