Best Eastern European Restaurants in Studio City

Excited to make it in to check out their dining experience during their third full week of business and am glad to have this Uzbek spot so close to the area I frequent. The location on Melrose is prime property, lots of parking along the street and on the inner streets too, lovely interiors that set the tone for the dinner, and the food was just as fab if not more so. For this first visit, the taste testers were the calf livers, cold eggplant appetizer, moshkurda mung bean and rice soup, and the beef plov. Everything was served quick and well flavored. Aside from the plov, everything was a new dish for us and loved the preparations. Each had its unique seasoning so definitely going back to try more. Ended with some chakchak for dessert and black tea which go great together. The owner Azim was kind to stop by and share a bit more about the restaurant and plans for the next menu change which sounds amazing. Already making lists of friends to take back there and what to try next time. Highly recommend this spot!!

Excellent service! Turkey avocado sandwich was delicious as was the gazpacho.

We wanted something different. We opted for Traktir. Every dish was amazing. From the salad to the mains, to dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant.
