Excellent. From we walked into the building we were impressed and the service and food was superb!

I had lunch at The Cygnet with a friend for a significant birthday and it did not disappoint. Food was superb and the staff went to great effort to ensure the meal felt special for her.

Perfect destination - met friends for a Christmas get together. Started with a few drinks at the bar before seating at our table in the original pub area by a lovely open fire. Very congenial service. We weren't the easiest group to deal with but the person who took our order handled us with utter professionalism and good humour. It made for a memorable afternoon . We will be back. ps slow roast leg of lamb for two is sensational. A must for any meat eater.

Excellent for a work lunch. Decent selection, and the quality was impressive . Recommended.

Good, fresh and well executed British dishes in a pleasant smart pub restaurant. We enjoyed Cornish fish soup, Cornish cod with wild mushrooms and leeks and excellent Partridge with red cabbage and mash. We will definitely be back
