Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Dayton

This was not our first trip to Pepp & Dolores, and they never disappoint. As always, we started with the whipped ricotta, and it was as tasty as ever. We followed that with the fried artichokes and the gem salad, and both were delicious. We chose the Limone on our own, and our server made two other outstanding recommendations of the Funghi pasta and the Butternut Squash pasta. The amazing food and service always keeps us coming back!

Enjoyed a lovely evening here with girlfriends. It was our first time here and we were impressed. We’re fans of Madtree and weren’t disappointed. Service was great and the food and drinks were excellent! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We love Cozy's - brunch, lunch and dinner. My husband was slightly disappointed at first that we were going for brunch because his most favorite thing on their menu is "crab in a cup". And they don't offer that at brunch. :-) However, we had a wonderful meal in spite of that. I had the short rib skillet (short rib over potato hash with scrambled eggs on top and a biscuit on the side). He had the Down Home breakfast with the grilled andouille sausage. We really enjoyed both though he wished the waffles were larger - they were described as "mini", but they were more like "baby". Overall always great service and atmosphere - one of our "go to" places.

Everything about our dining experience was outstanding. The only minor negative would be that we were sitting in a lovely booth but it was right by the hostess station and front door on an extended cold & windy evening resulting in our seating area being on the chilly side for the entirety of our dining experience. This was an extremely minor issue. Our servers was outstanding and my husband and I really appreciated that she knew the menu and food so well. Every question we had, she was able to answer thoroughly, as well as was able to make recommendations that we were very happy with.

A dinner at The Baker's Table is always a delight. We usually go for their special events or their once-a-month pre fixe meals. This time was for their Valentines Day special. The courses were individually small, but by the end of the meal you are filled up to satisfaction. Really unique preparations you won't find anywhere else. The wine pairings are always thoughtful and spot on. This time I had the wine, and my better half had the non-alcoholic pairings which were all spectacular. This place is great for a date, a special occasion, or really anytime you want a treat.
