- MMelissaPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOut to dinner for my Birthday. Great service from Candace! The kitchen was nice enough to offer a substitution on an entree… I’m eating low carb and GF, so they offered Brussels sprouts instead of the gnocchi in the short rib dish. I love Brussels sprouts, but over half of the ones in my dish were undercooked and too hard to eat. The short ribs were good though. Candace offered to ask the kitchen for a different side, but I had already finished the rest of the dish. My husband loved the pork chops on polenta, and our daughter loved her burger. The only other detail that was missed was the special cocktail I ordered was advertised as Prosecco with cranberry and mint (which I LOVE), but it came with sage instead and with no explanation for the change. Sage didn’t really work with the drink at all but at least it was balanced on the rim and not actually in the Prosecco. Great ambiance, as always, and mostly perfect food… just missing some of the small stuff that would make the experience top notch.More infoTerrain Cafe - DoylestownPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Doylestown•4.7
- EElizabethPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an excellent meal on a holiday weekend in a quiet small room by ourselves. Because of hearing issues, that was most welcome. The food was superb and the waiter was charming and helpful. We all three had different fishes and shared the wild mushroom toast and unbelievably good hummus with warm pita. Much appreciated on a cold night!More infoWhite Dog Cafe - University CityPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• University City•4.7
- LLuanaWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Love is an exceptional choice for a quick yet delightful lunch experience in Philadelphia. If you're planning to visit, it's advisable to secure a reservation in advance to guarantee your spot, or consider arriving after 3 pm to avoid the lunch rush. The restaurant boasts an upscale and contemporary ambiance, creating a perfect setting to enjoy a meal. One of the standout features of their menu is the unique twist they put on classic Southern cuisine. Among their offerings, the side potatoes are a highlight—cooked to perfection, they are simply one of the best I've ever tasted. Additionally, the Brussels sprouts paired with sweet potatoes are a must-try; the combination of flavors is both intriguing and satisfying. For the main course, the ravioli is nothing short of exquisite; it's prepared flawlessly, featuring a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors that leaves a lasting impression. With its innovative dishes and inviting atmosphere, The Love is undoubtedly a fantastic dining destination worth visiting in Philadelphia.More infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

- BBettinaNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined on 5 Oct 2024I’ve heard such great things about this place and their steaks. So my friend and I went. I have to say I was really disappointed in the food. It was a Saturday at 5 pm, an early dinner for us, and we were the only ones in there. So it wasn’t like the kitchen was slammed. We both got the 7oz filet mignon. Mine looked good although her cut looked terrible almost like a steak patty where mine was nice a plump. The mashed potatoes were cold and again we were the only ones there. So a big disappointment and not a place I can recommend or want to go back to unfortunatelyMore info390 PrimePrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Cranbury•2.9
