Enjoyed a sumptuous Christmas Day brunch. First time at the Blind Salamander. Lovely open feel that adds spaciousness to a fairly intimate space—with floor to ceiling views out over the resort grounds (and the golf course). Buffet offering extensive choices was set up at Multiple stations. (Carving, sides, salad, cheese, seafood, dessert). Service was attentive but not stuffy. The chef personally came to each table and offered greetings. Of special note: excellent prime rib, sides like chipotle sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts and fried oysters were amazing. Also the dessert offerings had tremendous variety and were artfully crafted as well as delicious. The pastry chef went truly above and beyond. The price point was a bit on the high side for buffet style but the quality and extensive menu made it worthwhile. Will go back for dinner sometime as their cocktail menu is interesting and reviews for seafood offerings are very good.

I had a great experience! The wait staff were friendly and personable. The food was cooked well (we had the Korean Fried Chicken and the Burger). The ambiance is creatively corky and the patio is nice and with a slight tinge of romance is you sit in the farthest section of the patio. I will definitely go again.

The Well is my favorite restaurant in Austin as it's one of the only restaurants whose food is as healthy (no seed oils, organic produce, grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken, etc.) as it is delicious. I eat here (and their downtown 2nd Street location) as often as possible.
