Best French Restaurants in LoHi

7 long time friends (for decades!) love getting together for dinner at La Merise…..Even in the busy holiday season, service was excellent, food delicious and chocolate mousse perfect (as always)! We love La Merise and hope it lasts forever! Thanks! Mimi Glode’

The food was so good, we're trying to schedule our return with more people so we can try all of the dishes! Drinks were fantastic as well. I don't recommend making a reservation for dinner at the bar. Turns out that does not guarantee seats. Fortunately, 2 seats opened after a brief wait and we were seated at the corner of the bar counter. It was a tight squeeze for all of the plates we ordered, but they staggered the delivery so we weren't overwhelmed. It's also a tight squeeze for people waiting who rested their arms on the backs of our chairs. That might be ok in a bar, but not for us trying to eat dinner.

It was a great meal with friends. The chicken was amazing!

We had a great experience eating at Coohills before a Saturday evening Avalanche game in December. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. The plating and flavors are superb. We had three different desserts and they were all amazing, especially the whisky ice cream. The energy in the bar was fun, and made even more so by a special shot one of the bartenders brought around for all guests to celebrate the Avalanche. We have been eating at Coohills for many years, and this was the best all-around experience we've had yet.

This is fine dining at its finest! The entire experience, especially the staff, are impeccable. Escargot, mussels, veal, sides, deserts, all are generous portions and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this dining experience.
