The hangar steak was soft and very tasty. The only misstep were the fries that come along with it. While the portion size was generous, they were the starch-coated kind which I really am not a fan of. Simple freshly cut potatoes would have made better fries. The chocolate soufflé lava cake was good though not incredible. It’s a smaller portion which is good so it was not overwhelming after a filling meal. Service was very good. The place was a little loud despite not being filled but that will obviously vary on the guests there. We ordered and our food came “fairly” quickly. (The restaurant was busy). Our food was delicious and well prepared. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance of Bar Frites. We ordered the tea service and it was so good- all the sandwiches and scones were fresh and delicious- as well as the teas!!! Service was great - answered our questions and accommodated our requests.
