What happens when a restaurant just keeps hitting the mark every time? You frequent the joint! Been there enough to say that after finishing dinner you think darn it, what a cool evening. It is just consistently an enjoyable night out because they check all the boxes, great vibe, great drink, great food, great service...good times!

This restaurant was such a great surprise! we found it randomly on OpenTable. We were just looking for a really nice place to celebrate an occasion. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful from the decorating to the lighting. We were welcomed by very friendly staff. The service was impeccable the food and the dessert delicious more people need to know about this place. We were wondering why it was not more full? This place deserves a chance to become one of the most popular fine dining spots on the upper West side.

From the moment we checked in for our reservation to the last bite of dessert, we were met with warm greetings and perfect service. We started with drinks. The Pear Margarita was so good I had two! The ARTICHOKES PARMESAN hors d’oeuvre was so amazing. I wanted more! (And the recipe!) My husband got the ANGUS HANGER STEAK and practically licked the plate clean. Oh the mashed potatoes!!! So creamy. I had the POULET RÔTI, and the chicken was moist, and the sauce was the perfect compliment to it and some of those fluffy potatoes! Did I mention the roll? I am such a bread snob, and love when I can rip open a warm roll! Even better when you dip it in the saucy cheese and sauce of the artichoke! Coffee, cheesecake and some apricot sorbet to finish off the meal. Literally one of the BEST MEALS we have had in a very long time and a definite must when we are in town and the vicinity.

Saddle River Inn gets it right every single time, from the moment you walk through the door, it becomes an experience. The service is absolutely impeccable. Every member of the team knows what to do and when to do it. Our favorite server is Tye, he is the best server we have ever encountered anywhere. The food is top notch. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. We shared the lump crab salad, and app size portion of the cavatelli, the octopus, and the tiger shrimp…all outstanding. Main entrees where perfect too! The lamb and sirloin were cooked perfectly and sooooo delicious. And wow! The French toast dessert was unlike anything I’ve ever had, I hope they add it to the permanent menu.
