Best French Restaurants in Pocantico Hills

Always my favorite dining experience since childhood…70+ years! Ambience remains quintessentially exemplary above all others. Service is appropriate but not overdone. Food continues to intrigue the palate. Grateful to have been seated on short notice on a Sat., evening!

Fabulous dining experience to start off the New Year! The restaurant was decorated so beautifully for the holidays! I treated my Mom and her friend out for an early dinner for New Year’s Day. I loved the Chicken Milanese with salad. My Mom enjoyed the Butternut Squash soup with mashed potatoes. Her friend loved the gnocchi’s and crème brûlée. The service was excellent thanks to Axle, James and Benjamin. The hostesses were lovely and helpful. The manager Danny stopped by to say hello too. Thanks to Kevin the bartender who always has a smile and is so kind. The music was great touch too.

The Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.
