- GGregorioNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAn Exceptional Evening at La Grande Boucherie Dining at La Grande Boucherie was nothing short of spectacular. The combination of impeccable food, a refined atmosphere, and excellent service made for an unforgettable evening. The Food I opted for their ribeye steak, and it was, without a doubt, one of the finest cuts of beef I’ve ever had. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the steak had a beautifully caramelized crust that locked in all the rich, robust flavors. Every bite was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Paired with the ribeye were their smashed potatoes, a simple yet elevated side that brought the meal together. Creamy and buttery with a hint of garlic, they were the perfect complement to the richness of the steak. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was elegant yet inviting. The Beers To accompany my meal, I chose a couple of IPA beers from their thoughtfully curated drink menu. The first was a bold, hoppy West Coast IPA with citrus and pine undertones that paired beautifully with the richness of the ribeye. The second was a hazy New England IPA, bursting with tropical fruit flavors, which provided a refreshing contrast to the hearty meal. Both beers were served perfectly chilled, enhancing their flavor profiles and making them an ideal match for the steak. The Atmosphere and Service La Grande Boucherie’s ambiance is something to behold. The stunning décor, with its grand Parisian brasserie-inspired design, added a layer of sophistication to the evening. Despite the upscale vibe, the atmosphere remained welcoming and warm. The service was equally remarkable. My server was attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about helping me pair the perfect beer with my meal. Their genuine passion for the menu and dedication to making my experience memorable was evident throughout. I want to thank Omar and Regina for their Amazing treat I’m already looking forward to my next visit!More infoLa Grande BoucheriePrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.6

- GGloriaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on 16 Nov 2024Le Rock was one of the most memorable parts of my one night stay in the city. I brought my granddaughter to Le rock to introduce her to French food preparation. I had seen many photos from others of the various menu items and was inspired to order a few. We had reservations at 12:00 on Saturday. From the restaurant window, the Rockefeller Christas tree was in perfect view and we watched as it was being prepared and decorated for the lighting. The woman that served us was a tremendous asset to the restaurant. She was intelligently and stylishly dressed, incredibly knowledgable about each food item and the French preparation methods and she definitely elevated our experience. We ordered SALMON RILLETTES, OMELETTE FINES HERBES Caviar, Crème Fraîche, FRENCH TOAST SUPREME Brioche, Maple, Orange Crème Anglaise and DUCK CONFITLentils, Port Cherries. In addition, my granddaughter had FRENCH COBBLER fruits des bois, mint, crushed ice non alcoholic beverage and I a glass of LAURENT SAILLARD En Famille, Malbec, Loir-et-Cher 2022. At the end f the meal, my granddaughter and I both agreed that this was the best dining experience that we had on our short stay, far superior than the food at the St Regis hotel (where we stayed) or the Trump Tower. My granddaughter loved the French Toast so much that we ordered 2 more servings to take back to Long Island with us for her sisters. Thank you Le Rock and thank you to the server that elevated the entire experience.More infoLe RockPrice: Very Expensive• French• Rockefeller Center•4.7
