Best French Restaurants in South Carolina

Always the best at Chez Georges. George always cooks up flavorful seafood. My favorite is the Bouillabaisse - freshest of fish and a variety of shellfish - so good. The cocktails and wine are a step ahead - Eric at the bar is one knowledgeable guy. AGN (another good night)! Lou L.

Perfect ambiance, elegant, intimate. Outstanding, extremely polished staff.

It was a quiet day at this cafe but the staff were incredibly gracious. The Southern Waldorf salad with grilled fruit, goat cheese and candied pecans was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Applewood thick sliced panini with avocados as well. We shared a warm, flaky cinnamon roll that melted in your mouth. Since they were about to close, they gifted us a dessert of warm blueberry crumble and lemon cake. We can’t wait to return!

We were unable to reserve a table inside and instead reserved a table outside for the first time. We and our out of town guests enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Outside seating is quieter than inside and we ere able to enjoy our conversation as well as our excellent food.

My husband ordered the duck & he said his was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The scalloped potatoes & veggies (green beans & carrots) were also delicious. He cleaned his plate. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, not much different than what can be found in Costco or ordering online - it came with a lovely horseradish & dill sauce. I also had the crab, avocado appetizer which was more interesting. We had an early reservation which is what I prefer to eating later, but there were people waiting by the time we left around 6:30.
