- DDavidVirginia •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOliver was our server and he did an exceptional job of making sure that all of my wife's allergies were addressed and the food was properly prepared. It is surprising that a high end restaurant offers no gluten free bread, roll, or breadsticks to customers who are gluten-free. As with lesser restaurants, my wife had brought her oun gluten-free crackers to eat while I enjoyed the fresh warm bread. I felt badly for her. When we inquired about possible future gluten-free breads being offered,, we were told that there was no intention to go in this direction.More infoChez Max - Richmond VAPrice: Expensive• French• Richmond•4.9
- OTOpenTable DinerGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe chose the five-course menu, and it did not disappoint. Husband's favorite bite was the scallops with truffle sauce. My favorite bite was the beef tartare (and husband ate almost half of it). Tomato bisque was smooth and delicious, not overly sweet as some can be. My steak was perfectly rare, and lobster melted in the mouth. Husband had the 3-meat trio and all were cooked perfectly and very tender. We finished with the souffle and cheese plate. I would come to Le Yaca for just the souffle! It was perfect. Husband ate half and shared his cheese plate with me. The selection of cheeses actually complemented the souffle, especially the brie. I had a nice doggy bag with 1/2 steak and spinach for lunch today. The waiter was so attentive and friendly. The only thing that was not exception was the French Onion Soup. It was good, but not great; way too sweet for my tastes, but husband finished it all. We had a nice French Cab Sav for under $50, and a Bourdeaux for $70. With tip the meal came in around $400. This is definitely a special occasion meal. We have eaten here many times and there are more budget friendly options.More infoLe Yaca - WilliamsburgPrice: Expensive• French• Williamsburg•4.9
