Best Gastro Pubs in Kinver

Excellent service friendly staff. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef. Such a delight cannot thank you enough we will be back!

Our special lunch for my wife's birthday was excellent, the food & service was also very good, Well done everyone.

Always a great carvery at the punchbowl. Been a few times and it's not the cheapest but definitely one of the better ones and always very busy so a good sign. The only criticism if I'm being picky was we thought the larger room we were seated in was a little canteen like. It's a function room for weddings we assumed and doesn't have the charm of the rest of the pub. Can't fault the food and service though.

Lovely little place, lovely staff and the log fire was burning bright. Decorations looked beautiful. Food was lovely accept the chips were under cooked slightly and I had a hair stuck to my chips but they gave me some fresh ones. Overall lovely experience but they didn’t offer any discount or offer anything apart from fresh chips which I found a little dissatisfying but I’m sure this was a one off things happen.

Great food, drink and service. Such a shame that the storm brought a power cut to the village before we got desert and coffee. Candles lit and open fire made for a lovely atmosphere.
