Best Greek Restaurants in Darien

We had a late Valentine’s Day celebration combined with our wedding anniversary. I selected Thassos as our place of celebration, and oh how we felt like royalty! The food- just incredible. The service- best you’ll find in Chicago. The drinks? - better than those I’ve had at restaurants in New York or Denver. Such a romantic setting for our special day and I can’t thank Thassos enough for the beautiful memories we have created there.. Do yourself a favor and make a reservtaion, because this place has always been packed when I’ve been here and it’s no surprise! I can’t stop thinking about that Shrimp appetizer with red sauce and feta!! Out of this world!!

We had a nice time for Valentines. My wife loved that they accommodated us even tho we were late due to the snowstorm. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! We had the tasting menu with a four course meal. Highly recommended for date night’s and anyone just looking for a good venue, with music and tasty food.

We had an incredible dining experience at Molos Greek Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that transported us straight to Greece. We ordered the Pastichio, Moussaka, and Saganaki, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The Saganaki was perfectly flambéed at the table, creating a fun and flavorful start to our meal. The Moussaka had the perfect balance of creamy béchamel and rich, spiced meat, while the Pastichio was comforting and packed with authentic flavors. Beyond the fantastic food, the waterfront views were breathtaking, making the experience even more special. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a gathering with friends and family, Molos Greek Restaurant is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back for more! Highly recommend!

Great food and very good service. While other reviews said that the prices were high, we found them reasonable based on the serving sizes. We had dinner for two nights. The alcohol pours could be a little more substantial but we were there for the authentic Greek experience. We will continue to make Mana our go to for Greek food.

Our first time at Lyra was really wonderful. The service was excellent. Our server Tassos was fantastic as were the runners and all the others involved in taking care of us. The food was incredible. We had the breads and spreads, octopus, lamb gyros and the Loukoumodes (Greek donuts). Everything we ordered was delicious and the flavors were just so fresh and bright. The made in house pita is perfection. The flavors of everything were familiar yet modern and new at the same time. The space is gorgeous. We went on an absolutely freezing, February night and felt like we were a world away. We had a fairly early 6pm reservation on a Thursday and by the time we were leaving about 7:45pm the entire restaurant was filled and really buzzing with great energy. There were only two of us and we will go back soon to be able to experience more of the menu. This is definitely one of our new favorites in Chicago. Well done by everyone involved at Lyra.
