Best Greek Restaurants in Long Grove

Ema had a great ambiance and service was great. Absolutely a great social gathering place to enjoy good food and great talks.

I have to give credit where it’s due, Donny G’s truly turned my experience around! After a previous visit that left me unsure, they went above and beyond to make things right, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality, and it was clear they cared about making my experience exceptional. The service was outstanding, our waitress was not only attentive but also warm and friendly, making sure everything was perfect. And the food? Absolutely out of this world! Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to see a restaurant take feedback seriously and go the extra mile to improve, but Donny G’s did just that. This was a complete 360 from my last visit, and I’m happy to say they’ve completely won me over. If you’re looking for amazing food and top-notch service, give Donny G’s a try, you won’t be disappointed! PS. Huge shoutout to the Manager Marco for making things right!

We went there for my wife’s birthday. Service, drinks and entrées were great. I had the moussaka which was one of the best I’ve ever had and my wife had the Bronzino which she said it was very flavorful. I told them ahead of time it was my wife’s birthday. They brought us what they called a “cheesecake“ with a candle in it. I believe they call it some type of Greek cheesecake. I hate to say this but it was inedible. Not good at all. We wound up ordering gelato instead which was delicious. But I was surprised when they charged us $14 for the birthday cheesecake which was never communicated to me. Don’t get me wrong, this place is really really good. But I would avoid the “birthday cheesecake” and they should’ve communicated that they were charging us $14 for it.

Food and service were excellent. The desserts could have been better. Should have tried the in-house made Greek Mousse instead of the brownie and carrot cake.

Great Food, Great service, one of my favorites. Great, authentic for, especially the grilled octopus.
