Really great experience! I didn’t pay for the food, so I’m not sure about the value. Our server was great, but she forgot a few things which is a little annoying. But overall, I really like her she made our experience better.

Wonderfully inventive food - not your traditional Indian restaurant. The the papadam were especially impressive. Slightly haphazard service - made worse by the incredibly high noise level - everybody was shouting to be able to hear one another, which just made it worse. We chose to eat a mix of starter plates, which gave us a rich variety of tastes. But they all arrived at about the same time, so there wasn't space on the table for them., and the experience felt very rushed. Even though we hadn't ordered any mains ("big plates"), the items we ordered that would normally accompany them (naan, raita) were treated as the second course - we had to ask for them to be brought with the rest of the food. We visited in mid November. It was really cold, even though we were sitting indoors - and many fellow diners also kept their coats on, so it wasn't just us..
