Welcome to Sweeney’s. We’re known for a lively time, and a lively time is what you’ll get. We like to gather outside, sidle up to the bar inside, and let loose until the last pints on Boylston are served. No matter when you amble through our doors, you’ll find us spirited and rambunctious as ever – so sit and stay a while!

Although the restaurant is lively, at our request, they found us a quiet table- that was heavenly. Our waiter, Rachel was friendly, prompt, and on top of the order. The chicken curry was tasty and nicely prepared. The Guinness beef pie was very good, too. Nice meal, will return!

Easy booking process and table was ready on arrival. Lovely welcome and confident service. Was little reticent about the change from Solas which I loved, but there was no need to worry. Service was great , new menu , missing a few of our favourites but also with some eclectic new additions. The pretzels and skins to start were delicious. Unusually we all ordered the same main, the dubliner toasties, small negative was all three toasties were completely different shades of toasting! Which I thought didn't look great. Generous filling and tasty soup. Loved the " scooped spoon fries. Personally found them far too salty especially paired with the ham.But each to their own. But still loved whole experience . It's Very Early days , give it a go its still a GREAT GIG. THANK YOU.
