Best Italian Restaurants in Mableton

Food, ambiance and service were all excellent. But the only thing that was amiss was despite mentioning that we were celebrating birthday nothing special was done to acknowledge. That would have been a nice touch. Anything with a candle on it would have made our dining experience wholesome and it left it lacking.

Great restaurant. Waitress was excellent! She bought me 4 wines to taste to help me pick one. Food was excellent! Our only complaint, is our food was very slow to come out. But that seems to be the norm now everywhere. And it was a Friday night. Had reservations at 6pm & tickets for a show down the street at 8pm. So we allowed a little over an hour to eat. 2 appetizers took about 30 minutes to come out & entrees it was after 7pm. So not really anytime left to sit back & enjoy the delicious food. Actually had to ask for the check when they bought out the entrees in order to make the show. But we would definitely go back again! Just allow more time or not have something planned for later. Haha!

Went on a Thursday night! It was packed and very loud. Server greeted me almost immediately but then didn’t come back for like 20+ minutes despite me trying to get his attention. He was super friendly though! Food was yummy, I got the bolognese, I wish it had been portioned a little larger. They have some yummy zero proof cocktails too!

As a European who has spent a LOT of tin Italy, the food is spot on.. almost authentic and def delicious! It is potentially the best Italian food I have ever had in the US including in LA, Vegas, Austin and NYC. Service is impeccable!!! Ambience is pleasant but EXTREMELY LOUD!!! Wine list is good and the restaurant is very receptive to dietary allergies… BRAVO!!!!!

La Grotta is hands down the best Italian restaurant in not only Atlanta, but the entire Southeastern US! So good!!!
