Best Italian Restaurants in Baldwin Hills

It is my favorite restaurant ever! Wonderfull food , great service, atmosphere a plus Been going there for years and it never lets me down even with out of town friends !! A must

We had a wonderful evening at Fia. The outdoor seating was lovely and our server, Brittany, was amazing! She catered to our every need promptly and professionally. We started with the meatballs which were delicious…they practically melt in your mouth and the marinara sauce and accompanying bread …fabulous. Next came the salad. We are picky about our Caesar’s Salad, but Fia knocked it out of the park. We shared it which was good because it was huge. Served with fresh anchovies, very crisp romaine and the dressing was on point…perfect blend of garlic and lemon…neither overpowering the other. And the piece de resistance was our main entree which again, we shared…Parmesan Chicken. It was divine! First of all, it could easily feed three people. It was lightly breaded and very tender and moist. Seasoned just right with just the right amount of melted cheese on top and that marinara sauce!!!! Valet parking was a plus.

Japanese eggplant was standout as always. Tried kale salad—nice balance with creamy avocado and crunchy almonds. GF pasta bolognese was delicious too. Another wonderful meal at Ospi!

Great service. Super friendly people all the way around. Perfect place for a business lunch however, if you’re talking about things that are super sensitive in nature may not be too ideal due to the tables being close in proximity to each other.

Service is attentive, professional, and at the same time casual. Bar is very comfortable if a bit loud when you’re right under the speakers but bartender adjusted them. Food standouts were the grilled olives and asparagus with morels. Rest of the food including a ‘three-finger’ Bistecca alla fiorentina were very good. Main dining room is cosy low tables and there’s a strip of outside tables enclosed by greenery from the parking lot. The open kitchen next to the bar with the Argentine grill was not being used the night we went. Don’t know if they’ve permanently moved the kitchen or only use it on busy nights.
