- KKateVIPNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy mother-in-law spent hours researching spots for a holiday gift card/surprise family dinner and landed on Piccola Cucina. The unassuming Casa is tucked away on a quiet street we might not have otherwise noticed, but you are greeted with warmth the moment you open the door. From the cozy lighting, to the gentleman making fresh pasta at the bar, to the friendly staff, it was Nona’s homey perfection from start to finish. Our server Cynthia offered great menu and wine guidance as we attempted to taste it all. The prices are very reasonable versus portion size. Octopus, Branzino, Gnocchi, and Osso Bucco Agnolotti were standouts. Can’t wait to be back!More infoPiccola Cucina CasaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Boerum Hill•4.9
- BBrooksNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI’ve been eating at Frankie’s for years. Dining here was one of reasons I moved to Brooklyn. Last night I was asked to leave before we finished our bottle of wine because they had reservations coming. It felt a little sad. Times have changed. Once upon a time it was cool. No longer. Don’t linger we have business to do. Turn em and burn em. Your food is still great and I love your olive oil. My olive oil will never ask me to leave the table before I’m finished. Neither would Nonna. Arrivaderci Frankies.More infoFrankies SpuntinoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Carroll Gardens•4.8

The food was fast and delicious and had a great vegetarian selection. About 5mins walk from York Street. Really can’t recommend this place enough.More infoCecconi's DumboPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• DUMBO•4.6
- JJohnVIPNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had 8 in our group for a Christmas Hanukkah dinner celebration. The restaurant was busy and the staff was incredibly profession, polite and attentive. Nick was our server and was great. Stopped by the table numerous times to check on us (If we needed anything else, etc...) Also never felt rushed. Just an overall fantastic experience. Will go back again! All of us enjoy edthe entire evening.More infoBotte BrooklynPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Brooklyn•4.6
- PPatrickWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024This place is such a gem - from the moment you get to the door, you can tell Cafe Mars is not your typical restaurant. The decor is colorful and vibrant; it just screams "walk in here and get ready to have a great time". The staff are warm, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I have had nothing but 10/10 service on all of my visits here. And of course, the food is fantastic. Chef Paul truly works wonders here. Run, don't walk to Cafe Mars!More infoCafé MarsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Park Slope•4.9
