Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below.     Had a great quality dinner, before heading to the theatre up the street. Pasta is cooked to perfection. The Chitarra Alla Norcina had crumbled sausage in a creamy truffle sauce. My favourite was the Calamarata Con Mariscos which had a perfectly balanced seafood sauce complete with shrimp, scallops and mussels. Highly recommend for top-notch Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

    The occasion of this visit was a pre-Christmas lunch with some colleagues and friends. There were four of us. Two of us had the veal special, one the veal parmigana, and the fourth had the chicken. We shared a sampling of appetizers including the carpaccio - a favorite of mine. Everything was excellent. In fact, over the years that I've dined at Carisma, I have never had anything less than an excellent meal. The service always complements the food in quality. Looking forward to my next visit, in 2025.

    Everything went without a hitch, which is a great experience particularly as we are well into the busy holiday season. Pasta dishes were tasty, great temperature and ample food. The warm bread is a nice touch. Waiter did a great job of keeping water glasses full and ensuring drinks were replenished as desired.
