Best Italian Restaurants in Inner City Northside

Overall I'm giving Tellers 5 stars. The food was very good, but if you're just wanting the best Italian food in OKC and don't care as much about the environment, I'd say check out Gabriella's. The environment at Tellers is unique in a good way and worth going at least once just to see it. The service was exceptional. The prices were perhaps just a little high for what you get. Definitely recommend eating here if you haven't already.

Mary Eddy’s Italian Grill zigs where other restaurants zag. The menu is simple, and no dishes are out of the ordinary. The key is that every detail is done extremely well. We enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and the Snow Crab Campanelle. The sauces were unbroken and vibrant. The pasta was perfectly cooked (and made in-house). I’m not a tiramisu person and we devoured that for dessert. I don’t drink but the bar team has stayed the same from the previous Mary Eddy’s iteration so you can expect excellence if you imbibe. Mary Eddy’s Italian Grill foregoes putting a chef in the spotlight in favor of highlighting an entire team of people doing their jobs at a high level. It’s like building a championship-caliber NBA team — just having one All-Star won’t win you a title. Mary Eddy’s has found the sweet spot and other restaurants opening in 2025 should take notice.

Always a fabulous meal with great service and great food

Very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Great atmosphere over all. Our server Carson was top notch and very friendly and playful , he gave us a great experience. Servers besides him brining our food/ appetizers were also insanely nice. Food was DELICIOUS and I’m not a pizzeria kind of person. The dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had and my boyfriend and I will be making this place our regular spot. 100/10 definitely recommend. Big shout out to Rudy for recommending this place to me.

This was our second visit, and equally exceptional! Service was absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious. We shared a main dish and it was brought out split for us. Bread and dips were so good, wine was perfectly chilled (and we didn’t order an expensive bottle), salad was fresh, the pasta with vodka sauce was amazing, and the affogato was perfection! Will definitely be back!
