Best Italian Restaurants in Kihei

We enjoyed everything we ordered for dinner: salads, seafood risotto, pork chops, and chicken Alfredo. Desserts were totally wonderful: flan, brownie sundae, tres leches, and mango sorbet. Our waiter was attentive without hovering; bus staff cleaned our table promptly. We love to sit outside and admire the West Maui Mountain view as twilight comes on. We dine at Fuego about once a month and always look forward to it.

My husband & I dined with clients at Matteo’s. Our table was outside on the covered lanai, the ambiance & temperature were very enjoyable. Michelle, the hostess was exceptionally welcoming & hospitable upon our arrival. Kiana was our server, she was incredible! So friendly, helpful with the menu, she answered questions about recommendations & ingredients in the menu items. She allowed us time to visit with each other & review the menu, her timing was impeccable throughout our meal. The bruschetta al tonno, misto salad, lasagna, monchong fish special & bolognese were all divine. Great wine & drink menu, too! I would highly recommend Matteo’s in Wailea.

We were here a couple of weeks ago and came back 2 nights in a row for more great dinners. Excellent service (Angela, Jerry, Daniel) and food, 2 nights in a row. We live on Maui and having a great staycation at Four Seasons Wailea. Hostesses Rachel and Abeer helpful and friendly. Manager Brianna delightful. We loved everything, not a single complaint. Great olive caponata amuse bouche/starter. The Festa menu is an excellent opportunity to try a variety of dishes. Calamari Fritti, Insalata Tricolore, Caprese Invernale, Pastas (with clams/Vongole; Tagliatelle Bolognese); Wagyu Bistecca with spuma, oyster mushrooms brocollini, smoked ricotta carrots. Excellent creative lemon yuzu dessert reminded us pleasantly of our many trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

Great service from Karen. Great food presentation and food explanation from Ian. Ambiance was perfect. The Rosemary bread, grilled salad and the Kona shrimp was yummy. The fish Kampachi was super tasty. The salmon was perfectly done. The cauliflower steak was truly a "steak" well done and paired wonderful with the arugula salad

We really enjoyed dining here. Everyone was so nice and atmosphere was calm. it took us out of the tourist restaurants to something peaceful and delicious
