- SSteveVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHave been here many times over the years. We invited longtime friends who have not been to the restaurant. They were absolutely thrilled finding veal on the menu. One of the few restaurants that still offer this dish. They really enjoyed having that. The special was lamb, and only rave reviews came out of their mouths. Prime rib was also a special and was cooked to perfection. Of course, sometimes we just need some fried chicken just to feel at home. We love that Casa Orinda stays with what they are known for. Great food, great service and a little bit of "old school" ambiance.More infoCasa OrindaPrice: Expensive• American• Orinda•4.7

- HHarrySan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoClean and spacious restaurant, tasty and good selection of meals. GREAT pizza. Servers were very nice and took care of us. This was a birthday event with 6 adults and 4 kids. Kids meals were a good portion and prepared like an adult meal. Overall, we will be back many times.More infoMelo's Italian TablePrice: Expensive• Italian• Walnut Creek•4.7

The manager Mohammed even stopped by our table to check on us. My mom enjoyed them singing Happy Birthday to her. Thank youMore infoIl Fornaio - Walnut CreekPrice: Moderate• Italian• Walnut Creek•4.3
- JJeanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •685 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Jan 2025Locanda Positano is one of our fav Italian restaurants. Lovely converted home, so note not really disabled-friendly as front and back stairs are brick. The outdoor patio, however, is level-in so works great in warmer weather. Note parking is VERY tight now at peak times due to Horn BBQ recently replacing Bonehead BBQ. Service not quite as polished as before but still very good and cheerful. Salads are excellent, starters are outstanding. Current iteration of burrata&prosciutto is stunning, everybody gave it a thumbs-up. Pasta dishes (we order these 2 almost 95% of our visits) were a little off, however. Strozzapretti was a bit glue-y, no loose sauce as it usually is (the sauce should be totally absorbed by the time the diner finishes eating, btw). We were also surprised the marinara for the clam linguine lacked the depth it usually has - tho lots of clams and perfect al dente pasta helped. But this was minor stuff; seasoning was on point on all dishes and our guest absolutely loved discovering Locanda (she recently relocated from LA).More infoLocanda PositanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lafayette•4.8
