Best Italian Restaurants in Mile End

Went here for an anniversary with my partner and food, drinks, the vibes and everything was amazing 💕. The only thing was that the staff seemed super busy so the service was a bit inattentive and slower. Personally, I didn’t really mind it as I prefer to have a slow-paced, uninterrupted meal :)

Intimate place on the edge of Shoreditch/Spitalfields with style and atmosphere. Cecconis has a varied and creative menu, great wine selection, draft beers, and the staff were helpful without being patronising or over-attentive. Exceptional value! I can't reccommend this place highly enough and will definitely go back next time I am in London.

Was not sure whether to give it 3 stars. The staff is lovely and the ambiance is really good, but the food is not mind-blowing. The bread leaves a lot to wish for and it took 30 minutes for them to bring our second course, which made us quite impatient... None of the staff apologised or acknowledged this was the case. I had a hard time finding actual meat in the cotoletta we were served which was essentially just a big block of breaded fat... The pasta was very good. Cocktails were ok. I'd say go for the vibe and maybe the pasta. Don't know that I'll be going back

This is a great pizza restaurant for small groups (2-4 people) if your seating downstairs, I haven’t seen the upstairs area yet. The food was great, service was very good and drinks were served in mason jars rather than cans with glasses so that was nice. The pizza base was good and well cooked, and the toppings were good quality as well. Will definitely be coming back to both here and the coffee room.
