Best Italian Restaurants in Barberino di Mugello

chianina bistecca is worth every penny though it was too much for my wife and myself :) we ordered the set for two and it was a mistake! LOL the platter was so good that it filled half our stomach! overall the ambience is good and wait staff are exceptional!

Ridiculous place. Unbelievably good. There’s a review below where he says they went back… read it and chuckled… we’re going back Wednesday night. The steak, the lasagne, the bolognaise, the chicken… all spectacular. My son described the Tiramisu as “Magestic”, which is high praise from a teenager. Do yourself a favour, eat here.

The service was exceptional. The drinks were well balanced and the food was tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxed with fun music in the background. This is the perfect stop for aperitivos.

We dined twice at Lo Scudo on our most recent trip to Florence. Once for lunch, and again for dinner later in the week. The food and service were both outstanding, and we'd definitely recommend for anyone looking to eat in the Centro Storico area of Florence.
