- MMariovipSan Diego •92 reviews5.0Dined todaySat at the bar, and the bartender Anthony was very good. We live locally and have come here often over the past 9 years. Always recommend this place, because it is consistently very good. Started with their Carpaccio, highly recommend, it's fresh, it's really good with arugula and fresh whole parmesan. I love their veal la limon, with capers. Light and rich! Their chicken masala is probably one of the best you'll find...Their wine menu is top notch, that includes their own label of Sangiovese and we recommend that, and also love the Daou Cab by the glass. Their sorbet is fresh homemade. Bellissima!More infoVigilucci's Cucina ItalianaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Carlsbad•4.8

- SSamanthavipCalifornia Central Coast •3 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Nov 2024I recently visited Merenda Wine Bar, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who appreciates quality wine , the staff is friendly and is passionate about sharing it with their guests. The wine selection at Merenda is unique, featuring wines that are grower producer wines, natural, and many are female owned, they feature wines that you won’t find at just any establishment. While some may have noted a corkage fee, it’s essential to understand that when you pay retail price, it feels incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality of the wine . Merenda is primarily a wine bar that serves sharing plates—perfect for pairing with your glass (or bottle!) of wine. I found it ideal to either visit before or after dinner, as the atmosphere is perfect for a lovely pre or post dinner conversation What makes Merenda even more special is it is Opened by a local Oceanside resident, it fills a void in the area—offering something completely unique. Cheers 🍷More infoMerendaPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Oceanside•4.7
- CcamilleSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined on 29 Oct 2024We like the ambiance. The food is inconsistent though. Last time we were there, the Scarface pasta was much more creamy and had more mushrooms. this time not so much and the dish wasn't as warm as it could have been. Our waitress was nice but she forgot a few things and then overcharged us. We caught it and it was all good. I spoke to the manager ahead of time because we were perhaps planning a large party in the near future for wedding. She was expecting us but she never came over to the table to speak with us. Anyway, we'll probably be backMore infoGiaola Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Carlsbad•4.1
