Best Italian Restaurants in North River Heights

The space was very welcoming. Staff were attentive and friendly. Bruschetta was the favorite dish, pizza was close second. And the fried chicken sandwich was very good, just could have used a punchier sauce. Had a great evening.

Service was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful.

This spot is a pretty sweet hidden gem in Winnipeg. The pizzas are fantastic, and the calamari is great too. The only downside for me was the bread served with the tartare—it needs something with crunch and texture, like a crouton. The soft bread makes the whole dish feel too mushy, which just doesn’t work. That said, I still highly recommend the place!

Showed up a bit early but our table was ready. Our waitress shelly was very on the ball, ensuring our first experience was great. Drink order was taken right away, food order was taken not long after. I’d recommend the bolognese sauce over the Alfredo but both were excellent. Couldn’t tell the difference between gluten free pasta and regular pasta which is impressive. Hour and 45 min time slot was more than enough for 2 people at peak hours. Will be returning to sample more of the menu!

Amazing bartender with lots of knowledge about drinks and very enjoyable to talk to. Would definitely recommend sitting at the bar but you’ll have a great experience either way.
